Student Leave of Absence and Withdrawal Refund Policy  

1.本校關於學生因故辦理休退學之退費基準悉遵照教育部「專科以上學校學雜費收取辦法」第 15 條及「專科以上學校向學生收取費用辦法」第 8 條規定辦理。

1. The University's refund standards for students applying for a leave of absence or withdrawal shall be handled in accordance with Article 15 of the Ministry of Education’s “Regulations Governing Tuition and Miscellaneous Fee Collection for Junior Colleges and Above” and Article 8 of the “Regulations Governing Fees Charged by Colleges and Universities to Students.

2.本表所稱學期 1/3 或學期 2/3 之日期以本校公告行事曆為準。

2. The dates referred to as one-third (1/3) or two-thirds (2/3) of the semester shall be based on the University’s official academic calendar.

3.本表適用本校各年級正式學制班別(含日間部、進修部、在職專班及附設進修學院、進修專校等各學制);惟有遞補制度之一年級新生擬退學(不保留學籍),另依說明 4 之規定辦理;其申辦休學者(保留學籍)仍依本表規定辦理。

3. This policy applies to all officially enrolled students in every academic program of the University, including undergraduate divisions, continuing education divisions, in-service programs, continuing education colleges, and junior colleges. However, first-year students in programs with a waitlist replacement system who intend to withdraw (without retaining student status) shall be subject to the provisions stated in Item 4 below. Students applying for a leave of absence (with retention of student status) shall still follow the provisions of this policy.

4.前項所稱有遞補制度之一年級新生擬退學(不保留學籍),於本校招生遞補截止前提出退學申請者,僅收取行政手續費(以所繳費用之 5%為限)後辦理全額退費;若逾本校招生遞補截止日提出休退學者,依本表各規定辦理。

4. For first-year students in programs with a waitlist replacement system who apply for withdrawal (without retaining student status) before the University’s waitlist replacement deadline, the University may charge only an administrative handling fee (not exceeding 5% of the paid fees), and the remaining amount shall be refunded in full. Students applying for leave of absence or withdrawal after the waitlist replacement deadline shall be subject to the refund regulations stated in this policy.

5.延修生若原為學雜費制繳費,除依本校規定於延長修業期間仍採學雜費制繳費者外,適用學分學雜費制辦理退費。

5. Students extending their period of study who originally paid under the full tuition and miscellaneous fee system shall, unless otherwise specified by University regulations requiring continued payment under the same system during the extended study period, follow the credit-based tuition and fee refund policy.

6.申辦退、休學時已辦就學貸款者,除依上開各項條件核計應退金額外,退費方式依教育部或臺灣銀行相關規定辦理。

6. Students who have already applied for student loans at the time of leave of absence or withdrawal shall have their refundable amount calculated according to the above regulations; however, the refund process shall comply with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education or the Bank of Taiwan.

7.代收款項由各委託收款單位自行辦理退費事宜。
